Position Overview:

We are seeking an intern therapist with a strong interest to join our team. This internship opportunity provides a unique blend of responsibilities which includes elaborate training, shadowing experienced therapists during massage therapy sessions and understanding prospective client\xe2\x80\x99s sentiments and view towards the massage therapy. The intern therapist will gain valuable insights into the field of therapy and develop essential skills required to thrive in this industry be it for patients requiring post operative care, aged care, expectant mothers or new mothers.

Minimum Requirements:

Pursuing or recently completed ITEC Diploma in Holistic Massage, or a related field.

Strong interest in care for adults striving for optimal wellness and a passion for their well-being and development.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.

Detail-oriented with good organizational and time management abilities.

Basic understanding of client requirements and willingness to learn and contribute to this area.

Willingness to undergo training and continuously develop therapeutic knowledge and skills.

Sensitivity, empathy, and understanding towards clients\xe2\x80\x99 needs.

Responsibilities:

Training

Acquire knowledge and skills related to professional conduct in therapy settings, including maintaining confidentiality, establishing rapport with clients, and adhering to ethical guidelines.

Shadow experienced therapists to observe and learn from their interactions with clients, gaining valuable insights into effective therapy techniques and approaches.

Assist in the development and preparation of training materials and resources for therapists and the community for self-care, ensuring they are informative, engaging, and aligned with best safe and effective practices.

Understanding Industry Requirements

Applying appropriate principles and knowledge to develop compelling content for social media platforms to engage and educate the target audience.

Crafting persuasive messages and appeals in marketing materials, ensuring they resonate with potential clients and highlight the benefits of our therapy services.

Reaching and connecting with potential clients effectively to research on the general sentiments of the target audience regarding the therapy while actively participating in company\xe2\x80\x99s outreach programmes.

Note: This internship opportunity provides exposure to therapy sessions through shadowing and observation. The intern therapist will not have direct responsibilities for conducting therapy sessions but will have the opportunity to learn from experienced therapists. The intern therapist will receive comprehensive training before shadowing sessions.
