As Therapy Area (TA) Head for Hematology for the APMA region, you will lead, manage and develop the overall performance of the business franchise/unit\'s current and future product portfolio and deliver sales and profits within agreed budgets. You will also lead and develop a high-performing sales and marketing team and build effective and enduring business relationships with key customers/ stakeholders.

Your Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Manage regional performance of the Hematology portfolio to maximize the aspiration in growth within APMA with product maximization and launch excellence.
  • Provide advisory and support to Therapy Area Heads to ensure the right talents in the right roles with the best robust launch preparation and execution excellence to deliver the results in key performance indicators in the growth and profit.
  • Build, develop and coach talents within the Hematology to ensure their growth and robust succession pipeline to the critical roles in the TA.
  • Drive & deliver on sales performance, growth and revenue of TA priority brands. Define, develop and implement short and long-term strategic marketing and sales plans in line with regional & global marketing strategy.
  • Localize global TA strategy and drive launch planning & execution. Define, drive and oversee the launch planning and execution of upcoming key launches by ensuring seamless cross-functional and (as applicable) cross-divisional collaboration.
  • Activate new customer engagement model for the respective TA.
  • Build long-term partnerships with the TA-related external stakeholders, to deliver joint value.
  • Build strong cross functional, agile teams, coach and develop talents. Partner with other franchise heads and support in the development of an agile, customer-led digital and customer solutions strategy which meets the evolving needs of the business, our customers and patients.
Minimum requirements

What you\'ll bring to the role:
  • Degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Biomedical or other related discipline.
  • Proven success in launching a specialty product, preferable in healthcare & life science industry.
  • Successful P&L management experience (bottom and top line). Experience in leading business and/or organizational transformation processes
  • Significant exposure in tackling access/reimbursement challenges. Successfully delivered an outcome-oriented targeted customer (patients, HCP`s, healthcare partners, government) engagement initiative based on deep disease area insights.
  • Experience in anticipating external market dynamics and translated them successfully into TA strategy.
  • Learning agility - Agile, curious, and open-minded to new ideas and diverse ways of thinking.
  • Able to understand changing dynamics of Pharmaceutical industry.
  • Digital & Technology Savvy
