Must understand drawing and follow blueprints precisely and mark and measure surfaces that need to be tiled to determine how to go about jobs
Laying of floor screed and intricate mosaic tile
Applying new waterproofing membrane
laying of floor tiles and wall tiles
Working out how many tiles and how much adhesive you'll need for a particular area
Preparing surfaces by levelling off with plaster, sand or cement
Fixing the tiles and applying grout before finishing off
Being thorough, with good attention to detail
Have thinking and reasoning skills
Ability to lift heavy materials and equipment
Requirement:
Must be willing to work overtime if required
Willingness to work in non-climate controlled conditions (heat, cold, outdoors)
Hard working with good attitude
Must have practical experience laying floor tiles & wall tiles
