Measure and mark surfaces to plan tile layout.
Cut tiles using hand tools or power tools (tile cutter, grinder, wet saw).
Prepare surfaces by leveling, patching, or applying screed as required.
Mix and apply tile adhesive/cement to floors and walls.
Install tiles accurately with proper alignment, spacing, and leveling.
Perform grouting, cleaning, and finishing work.
Inspect completed work for quality, defects, and hollow tiles.
Ensure work complies with HDB/BCA renovation guidelines (if applicable).
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
Follow site safety rules and attend toolbox talks when required.
Coordinate with site supervisors, IDs, or clients for job updates.
Job Requirements

At least 1-2 years of tiling experience preferred (Singapore or overseas).
Familiar with ceramic, porcelain, homogeneous, marble, and vinyl tiles.
Ability to read simple drawings or layout plans.
Physically fit and able to handle manual work.
Basic understanding of surface preparation and screeding.
Able to work independently and meet project deadlines.
Knowledge of waterproofing and tile leveling systems is an advantage.
Safety certifications (e.g., CSOC) are a plus.
Able to work OT, weekends, or public holidays if required.
