Job Description

We are seeking an experienced

Timber Foreman

to oversee timber works on construction sites, ensuring high standards of workmanship, safety, and timely completion of all assigned projects.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate timber work activities including formwork, scaffolding, and framework installation. Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. Allocate work to timber workers and ensure daily productivity targets are met. Inspect materials and workmanship to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Liaise with site supervisors, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth workflow. Maintain accurate records of progress, materials usage, and manpower. Enforce safety regulations and proper use of tools and equipment on site.

Requirements

Minimum 1 years of experience as a Timber Foreman or similar supervisory role. Strong technical knowledge of formwork systems and carpentry methods. Able to read and interpret construction drawings. Good leadership and communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines. Relevant certifications (e.g.,

WSQ Supervise Construction Work for WSH

) will be an advantage.
