Job Description

The Career Conversion Programme (CCP) (Train-and-Place with Commitment to Hire) for Advanced Biopharmaceuticals Manufacturing Executives/Professionals is a talent development programme aimed at building the next generation of skilled manpower for Singapore's Biopharmaceuticals manufacturing industry in anticipation of hiring demand.

The training programme consists of a 3-months structured facilitated training conducted by Singapore Polytechnic, followed by 15 months of local attachment with GSK. Due to the nature of the programme, we can only consider Singapore Citizens and Singapore Permanent Residents. For more information, please visit

A certificate will be given to successful trainees upon completion of the programme.

Role Description:

Provide solution and support for locally developed digital applications to improve productivity and efficiency in various business processes.

Trainee to be involved in:

Understand user requirements for proposed digitalization projects for automation of existing business processes.

Provide support and guidance to business users to develop fit-for-purpose user requirements.

Develop digital solutions to meet user requirements.

Provide support to business users to conduct testing on the prototypes developed.

Provide training to end users and/or user representatives on the use and administration of locally developed applications.

Provide maintenance support and troubleshooting for locally developed applications and other applications.

Continuously improve the performance and user-friendliness of existing locally developed applications.

Migrate existing locally developed applications to new platforms, where appropriate.

Explore and adopt new technologies which can help digitalization on site

Ability to adhere to regulatory requirements, written procedures and safety guidelines

Ability to organize work and handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines

We are looking for you with below attributes:

Min. qualification: Diploma/degree in Computer or other science or engineering related disciplines.

Excellent self-motivated team player with hands-on attitude and good communication skills.

Ability to learn existing and new technologies through self-learning.

Ability and willingness to maintain and troubleshoot existing locally developed digital applications.

Where will I be based?

You will be based at one of our manufacturing sites in Singapore near Boon Lay.

When can I start?

TNP Program starts in February 2023 (tentatively), while the On-the-Job training start in May 2023.
