Trade Finance Analyst

to join our vibrant team based in Singapore.

TotalEnergies Trading Asia (TTA) is a wholly owned affiliate of TOTSA TotalEnergies Oil Trading S.A. Fast-paced, demanding trading environment requiring a high degree of reactivity, external interaction with banks, insurers and trading counterparties, as well as internal collaboration and teamwork with Trading, Operations, Legal, and Credit team members in both Singapore and the Geneva HQ.

Activites

Ensure the validity of all the received financial securities, and the issuance of adequate financial instruments, as and when required by the necessities of business operations. Support the development, and day-to-day management of business relationships with banks in connection with trade finance services such as silent payment guarantees, discounting of receivables, L/C issuing/advising /negotiation /confirmation and other plain vanilla trade services. Assist the Head of Credit and Trade Finance in mitigating credit risk exposure by implementing silent payment guarantees at the lowest possible cost through aggressive bargaining with existing banks/insurers in the portfolio as well as the on-boarding of new banks to support the business growth plans of traders. Assist the Head of Credit and Trade Finance in finding innovative solutions concerning credit risk mitigation as well as working capital optimisation (discount without recourse, factoring, etc.) at the lowest possible cost.

Profil du candidat

Bachelor's degree Minimum 5 to 8 years of work experience in a reputable international bank, or within the industry itself (trading house, oil major) with similar responsibilities. Excellent in-depth knowledge of various financial instruments and trade finance techniques. Good communication skills in English and Mandarin are essential.
