Job Description

• Ensure timely and reliable execution of commodities trade finance transactions including assisting in the handling of trade documents
• Providing technical support to internal and external clients to resolve and manage diverse types of trade-based transaction operations
• Participate in change of processes and procedures to improve operational efficiency and enhance service level of the team

• Performance of trade and loan processing services for the Global Commodities Finance portfolio
• Scope of products include but not limited to:

• Documentary Credits - Issuance and Advising
• Guarantees / Standby Letter of Credit
• Document checking under Import and Export Letter of Credits
• Confirmation/Discounting of bills under Export Letter of Credits
• Documentary Collections
• Supply Chain Financing
• Ensuring compliance with established operational standards and procedures, control measures, Bank\'s guidelines; and adherence to the relevant ICC rules and Standard Practices.
• Sound knowledge of AML compliance and regulatory requirements and be proactive in managing AML related compliance risks
• Handle customers\' queries as well as provide advisory to customers/business units of identified documentary risks
• Escalate transaction/facility deviations including AML name hits to internal stakeholders for approval
• Reconciliation of transactions as well as investigate GL outages

• Experience in Trade/Commodity Finance operations preferred
• A keen eye for details, conscientious and meticulous
• Able to work under stress and adaptable to changes
• Pro-active, good interpersonal and communication skills
• Good team player
• Proficient in the use of various Microsoft Office applications
