About our client: Our client is a leading global multidisciplinary engineering consultancy.

About the role:

You will be part of the Transport team, working for a range of clients including government agencies, local authorities, developers and contractors. Your responsibilities will include:

• Demonstrate technical knowledge and expertise to advise clients and stakeholders
• Work closely with other transport and environmental design disciplines in the delivery of projects
• Delivery of projects from inception to completion ensuring scope, contracts, budgets and QA procedures are all in place and maintained through the project lifecycle
• Engage with internal and external design teams and lead and guide design engineers and technicians
• Look to innovate and develop design systems alongside the company\'s Digital Design Team
• Provide guidance, instruct, motivate, and manage assigned staff on the project
• Apply and promote policies relating to Health and Safety, quality and environment
• Providing technical guidance and support to colleagues and assist in mentoring and development
• Demonstrate ability in financial management of projects.
• Supporting bid teams to prepare proposals for multi-disciplinary tenders.

About you:

• Bachelor\'s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• 5 years of working experience in Civil Engineering / Traffic Engineering, preferably from a Consultancy environment.
• Experienced in project delivery including authoring and reviewing reports, drawings and specifications
• Detailed knowledge of health and safety legislation, including CDM Regulations
• Experience working on design & build projects and have worked with central government, local authorities or contractors as clients
• Ability to work well under pressure and proven ability to deliver to deadlines.
• Self-motivated and able to work well on your own initiative. Excellent communicator who is highly organized and able to prioritize.
• Ability to develop strong professional relationships with clients and partners.
