Trainee Shipbroker Job scope: * Understudy and hands on operational aspects of a Charter party. * Maintain databases and market information and reports for clients. * Support the day-to-day Trainee Shipbroker Job scope: Understudy and hands on operational aspects of a Charter party. Maintain databases and market information and reports for clients. Support the day-to-day activities of the Senior Brokers. Establish and maintain effective relationships internally and externally. Prepare reports and analysis for existing/incoming customers. Help to manage internal data flow of key market information. Attend meetings and events with clients where required. Carry out post fixture support in a prompt and efficient manner. Requirements: Minimum Diploma/ Degree in Maritime studies Effective communication skills Good commercial judgement with good negotiation skills Strong numeracy skills and excellent presentation skills Strong attention to detail and focus on accuracy Driven, self-motivated and client focused Confident and able to work well under pressure Strong MS office skills in Excel, PowerPoint, Word
