Trainee Shipbroker 5 days, 9am-5.30pm (Might beyond office hours due to industry nature) Salary: $2800 -$3500 Location: Tanjong Pagar You will work alongside our experienced Brokers to help stren Trainee Shipbroker 5 days, 9am-5.30pm (Might beyond office hours due to industry nature) Salary: $2800 -$3500 Location: Tanjong Pagar You will work alongside our experienced Brokers to help strengthen relationships with existing clients for sales and help develop new businesses . The main role is to act as a intermediary/negotiator between shipowners and charterers to arrange freight transportation. Job scope: Understudy and hands on operational aspects of a Charter party. Maintain databases and market information and reports for clients. Support the day-to-day activities of the Senior Brokers. Establish and maintain effective relationships internally and externally. Prepare reports and analysis for existing/incoming customers. Help to manage internal data flow of key market information. Attend meetings and events with clients where required. Carry out post fixture support in a prompt and efficient manner. Requirements: Minimum Diploma/ Degree in Maritime studies Strong attention to detail and focus on accuracy Driven, self-motivated and client focused Strong MS office skills in Excel, PowerPoint, Word
