About this roleThis traineeship is an opportunity for aspiring individuals who are keen to join aviation industry but do not meet the pre-requisites as a trained aircraft engine technician. Upon successful completion of the program, a career as a qualified aircraft engine technician awaits you.About the Traineeship Program\xc2\xb7 The program involves a fully-sponsored training program with an allowance of S$1,700 - S$1,900 per month over the one-year training period.\xc2\xb7 The program encompasses initial company familiarisation, classroom training and on-the-job training.\xc2\xb7 The initial familiarisation in SAESL provides an insight to the working environment prior to attending classroom training.\xc2\xb7 The three-month classroom training, consisting of theory and practical sessions, will be conducted and assessed by an external training academy.\xc2\xb7 The nine-month on-the-job training in SAESL provides the opportunity to learn and work on the renowned Rolls-Royce Trent Engines.\xc2\xb7 Upon completion of the training, the qualified aircraft engine technician will serve a two-year bond with SAESL.\xc2\xb7 The starting salary of a shift-rostered technician at SAESL is between S$2,050 and S$2,150.
