1.Position Summary

The job holder shall perform the roles of the Training Analyst and will report to the Training Manager, Divisional Quality. The role will require working with subject matter experts. The Training Specialist should have a firm grasp of how people learn, a working knowledge in content design, with excellent communication and collaboration skills. Other responsibilities include

2.Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Key Activities)

  • Carries out duties in compliance with established business policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrates commitment to the development, implementation and effectiveness of applicable Quality Processes as per ISO, FDA, and other regulatory agencies.
  • Responsible for exhibiting professional behavior with both internal/external business associates that reflects positively on the company and is consistent with the company’s policies and practices.
  • Responsibility to understand and maintain awareness of the quality consequences which may occur from the improper performance of their specific job.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
  • Support the Training Manager in delivery of the centralized training service, by executing against customer requests for training support. This may include providing support to: -
    • Creating training compliance reports required by the business.
    • Line and Subject managers on identification of training needs and performing training needs analysis for employees to confirm an employee is competent to perform their job role,
    • Employees on completion of training in the electronic Learning Management System,
    • Trainers on design and development of training material and recording of online training,
    • Trainer on the delivery of training ensuring training best practices are adopted throughout the training design and delivery process.
  • Preparation of training compliance data for PowerBI reporting.
  • Assignment of training within the electronic learning management system and monitoring of completion by employees. This includes reporting to management of status and metrics of training compliance.
  • Monitoring customer requests to ensure timely completion of request to meet customer requirements.
  • Reporting on status of projects and customer requests to the Training Manager.
  • Reviewing training records produced by managers and employees to ensure compliance to training process and quality requirements.
  • Creation of Training Compliance reports and metrics on a defined basis.
  • Ad hoc reports that may be requested from the Training team from time to time.
  • Devise and/or provide assistance with the creation of assessments such as tests or quizzes to measure the effectiveness of the course.
  • Maintain project documentation and course folders.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

3.Dimensions – Education / Experience / Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree, educational technology or similar relevant field.
  • At least 3 years’ experience working as a Training Coordinator / Training Specialist / Data Analyst.
  • Knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills with MS Excel, including Pivot Tables and VLookup
  • Experience working with a Learning Management System is preferred.
  • Experience or working knowledge of PowerBi strongly desired.
  • Professional presence, excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to be proactive and manage multiple projects simultaneously and focus on critical priorities.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to produce high quality work under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work effectively in a global environment.
  • Experience in delivery of training
