Conduct International Certification Seminars / Courses like AWS-CWI, CSWIP 3.1, CSWIP 3.2, ASNT / CSWIP NDT Level- 2/3 as per SSG (Skillsfuture Singapore) requirements for its courses (PWI, PT, MT, UT, VT, RI) both in-person and online mode.
Conduct both WSQ & non-WSQ Technical Trainings.
Develop business development activities. Analyse the sales of margin every month and support Marketing and Admin activities.
Coordinate with the clients and understand the requirements to deliver during the Training sessions for course development.
Update Training Data File, Feedback Forms, Assessment Records to SSG for each course run.
Manage the projects including resource planning, scheduling, documentation, budget, customer communication and any other activities required. Conduct vendor and in-house audits and document as a company’s Internal Auditor (ISO 9001).
Manage welding procedures to guide welding personnel relating to specification restrictions, material processes, pre- and post-heating requirements which involve use of complex alloys, unusual fabrication methods, welding of critical joints, and complex post-heating requirements.
Review of client specification, drawings and preparing the QAP, TP and weld maps.
Spot checking of weld maps before, during and after welding and document the same.
Identifying the materials involved in the project and checking for the requirement of the new procedure & developing the procedures, methods statements and practices in conformance with code.

Reviewing & approving of NDT procedures before submitting for Client approvals.
Establish NDT techniques and procedures in support of client requirements and interpreting codes and standards.
Providing technical leadership to advanced NDT operations, including review of all NDT reports. Provide technical support to business development.
Verifying records of calibration, inspection & test equipment.
Understanding and resolving Customer’s technical requirements.
Works with and provides training for NDT inspectors in techniques of advanced NDT inspection and other related duties.
Raising job specific deviations in the form of Non-Conformance & ensure satisfactory compliance to Non-Conformance resolution.
To Plan, Coordinate, monitor and verify the work of NDT technicians to ensure compliance with approved procedures, specifications, codes, standards and other company's requirements.
Ensure NDT operators are qualified, certified and competent to do the job. Ensure the equipment is suitable for the job, calibrated and in good condition.
Ensure NDT records including radiographic films are properly kept, maintained, packed and easily retrievable.
Ensure results of NDT are correct and satisfy the acceptance level of work requirement.
Anticipate and take corrective actions to prevent quality problems, failures, defective works and deficient reports.
Conducting awareness programs on NDT to supervisors & Engineers.
Preparation of different calibration blocks for various kinds of jobs in ultrasonic testing.
Document all inspection, testing and quality control for structural steelwork throughout the fabrication Conduct and coordinate on various inspection activates such as verification of material, material certificate, Heat no., traceability, fit up, in-process, machining, dimensional, GD&T, surface finish, welding, destructive test, NDT (PT/MT/UT/RT), painting, corrosion protection, packing final inspection and verification of inspection and test reports, related to construction works and or field inspection.
Familiar with inspection, test and measuring equipment used to ensure product quality meet the required specifications.
Primary liaison between client and suppliers during fabrication execution and issue Notice for Inspection to client for progressive specific timeframe as per ITP.
Interpret Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerance (GD&T) form engineering drawing and specification and inspect parts are in compliance to drawing.
Material receiving inspection and identification, Material condition/Visual inspection, Material certificate on receipt.
Witnessed WPS and PQR for the specific joint configuration as per AWS D1.1, ASME, ISO standards.
Witnessed welder qualification based on approved WPS and prepared WPQ covering applicable essential variables.
Witnessing of raw material inspection for hardness test, Tensile test as per project requirements.
Verification of welder qualifications, WPS and PQR review, Verification of materials as per approved drawings.
Monitor and inspection of the weld joint preparation, Preheat and inter pass Temperature as per approved Welding Procedure Specification (WPS) for structural steel AWS D1.1.
Visual inspection before, during and after welding as per AWS D1.1 requirement.
Witnessing of welding repair, NDE, dimensional check, weld hardness check, Final visual inspection.
Review or verify NDT report.
Witness of surface preparation and painting activities (external and internal)
Visual inspection of painting and DFT check as per approved painting procedures.
Preparation of final punch list, Preparation of final documents, co-ordinate inspection activities with operation/maintenance dept., prepare reports etc.
Review technical requirements for all welding activities are correctly specified and carried out as per relevant code, client specification and applicable standards in most economical way,
Conduct audit on suppliers/ vendors facilities so as to identify the gaps in their quality system and improve suppliers/vendors quality and resolve all issues Develop and implement Vendors Surveillance to monitor closely the quality standards of suppliers/sub-suppliers and vendor facilities
Conduct sub-contractor assessment and develop new sub-contractor for company intends to use sub-contracting services (e.g., in welding, inspection, NDT, heat treatment, calibration, maintenance)
Review Initial documentation prior to start of fabrication activity, including ITP, Quality plan, Quality Control Procedure, WPS, WPQR, WP, ISO Drawings, BOM, Weld Map.
Review / witness various inspection and test activates as per ITP inspection points nominated by client such as verification of material, traceability, fit up, welding, NDT Load test, hydro test, final inspection and verification of inspection and test reports, related to construction works and or field inspection
Check for weld joint preparations, fit up alignment, dimensional tolerances and visual check on weld and inspecting completed work for conformance to Drawing, specifications, and standards.
Issue Internal NCR or Site Observation, Follow-up on corrective action of nonconforming products Produces reports of defects and problems and makes sure remedial actions/follow-ups are carried out and closed out
Formalizing quality control processes and procedures. Making sure that shop/field personnel remain connected with the QA team, report any issues of concern that they may have.
Trouble Shooting QC and Welding related Problems in Shop floors and work site. Looking for any inconsistencies in a production process and developing internal controls for Improving work processes
