Role and Responsibilities

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our new Training Centre in Singapore to support the G650 device as a Training Manager. Purpose Responsible for the overall supervision and delivery of flight training activities in the assigned fleet(s). Responsibilities OPERATIONS o Responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of ground and flight training in assigned classrooms and aircraft simulators o Maintain contact with Account Executives, Scheduling, Regulatory and Standards to facilitate seamless delivery of training o 95% of working time is expected to be dedicated to Training Manager duties (off schedule)
TRAINING AND STANDARDS o Ensure quarterly Standards meetings are held to continuously improve the standardization of instructors and ensure compliance within the network o Assist in the conduct of annual Quality Assurance checks of instructors o Liaise with Technical Services and Fleet Chiefs to ensure simulator data is current and that simulators contain all customer required material o Liaise with Training Standards and Global Program Lead to ensure courseware content is current and contains all customer required material o Ensure instructors have adequate tools to access current regulatory, network, and local training materials o Ensure highest standard of instructor staff o Develop and monitor instructor training plans o Ensure that Initial and Recurrent training requirements for all instructors and examiners are met o Assure all instructors in assigned fleet (s) are fully authorized and qualified for all assigned duties
ADMINISTRATION o Calculate the required number of instructors to meet the commercial training requirement o Develop the annual client course training plan and course schedules based upon Sales projections o Manage resources to meet or exceed the required number of training events o Manage the optimal mix of full time, part time, and freelance instructors to meet the training need o Maintain a minimum of two full time instructors as examiners for each required regulatory authority o Manage instructor and examiner training records o Responsible for client training records to ensure the highest possible standard for accuracy and timely completion o Monitor all assigned instructor staff qualification currency (full time, freelance, support) o Ensure all training materials and devices are current
HUMAN RESOURCES o Assign and maintain a qualified Lead Instructor on each type, and ensure that the assigned Lead IP\xe2\x80\x99s duties and responsibilities are adhered to o Update instructor HR profiles to include compensation changes, allowances, transfers, promotions and leaves of absence o Conduct instructor annual performance evaluation reviews CUSTOMER RELATIONS o Monitor client progress and ensure that recommended remedial training sessions are approved by the associated Account Executive o Review and respond to customer satisfaction surveys to ensure the assigned fleet(s) training and instructors meet or exceed expectations o Create, maintain, and nurture a close relationship with the Training Center\xe2\x80\x99s primary customers\xe2\x80\x99 flight operations and training departments Qualifications o Working knowledge of EASA, FAA, GCAA, GACA, CAAC and other aviation regulators and regulations o Excellent interpersonal skills o Possesses above average verbal and written communication abilities o Demonstrates proficient computer skills and internet applications o Continuously drives toward process improvement and customer/client satisfaction o Ability to focus and work in a fast paced 24/7 environment o Readily accepts change and adjusts accordingly o Maintains concentrated customer/client orientation Experience o Holds or held an Air Transport License o Previous experience as an Instructor, or equivalent o Training and operations career in aviation-related business acceptable to regulatory authorities Position Type
