Job Description

The Training Specialist is responsible for developing, implementing and evaluating Shearwater Health training activities. Plans, assesses, organizes, coordinates, conducts and evaluates all SWH training programs and activities. These include New Hire Training, Compliance Trainings, Refresher Courses, Specialty Trainings, Continuing Educations, Cross-Trainings, etc. Creates interactive and effective training presentations. Creates documents for, maintains and organizes Shearwater Health Training Library. Works with the Operations and Quality Assurance teams to analyze performance feedback and resolve issues.
Qualifications:
Registered nurse with Baccalaureate in Nursing or higher
Active license as Registered Nurse + Active Coding Certification
At least 6 months of related clinical work experience
Preferred:
Training experience (preceptor, clinical instructor, teaching or similar)
Expert on related clinical work experience, client techniques and processes
Excellent organizational and planning skills with ability to multi-task
With good attention to details
Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Exceptional listening and analytical skills.
Knowledgeable in MS Office applications especially Word, PowerPoint and Excel
