What would a Transcreation Project Manager (Freelance On-site) do at Hogarth?

As a Transcreation Project Manager, you\'d be responsible for project managing localisation work for our client\'s Marketing Communication materials across different platforms. Working closely with our client\'s Marcom Project Managers and a network of creative talents from various markets across South East Asia (SEA), you\'d also engage with other cross-functional teams of producers and project managers to ensure work is delivered on time, on quality and within budget. You\'d constantly need to communicate and negotiate priorities and deadlines with internal and external teams to ensure expectations are well managed. Your primary tasks include organising and coordinating schedules, distributing workload, tracking progress of projects and allocated budget.

This is a freelance position that at times, would require on-site presence at the client\'s/our offices due to the confidentiality of certain projects. You will focus on building strong relationship with the Client Talent Network and briefing new projects accurately. Strong organization and time management skills when managing Clients, with focus on quality.

Responsibilities

Validator Network Management

  • Ensure a thorough understanding of the contractual obligations, commercial arrangements, SOW and SLAs of the accounts and ensure specific details are understood by the wider team where relevant
  • Manage a network of creative people and ensure they are motivated to perform
  • Coordinate weekly status meetings/monthly review sessions
  • Organize teamwork, create a balanced work schedule and ensure work is of high standards and delivered on time
  • Flag any potential team issues to the line manager and be actively involved in finding a solution
  • Review talent performance and drive constant performance improvement by working closely with talent manager and providing regular feedback on all talent
  • Highlight and resolve quality control issues with the network
Project & Account Management
  • Coordinate and ensure all parties follow the agreed workflows and manage them through the process
  • Work alongside and support client\'s Traffic Manager when briefing and tracking projects through to completion
  • Ensure that there is clear division and allocation of workload among team members
  • Ensure that trackers are updated at all times
  • Monitor timelines and manage client expectations
  • Monitor budget utilization and flag potential issues
  • Monitor internal workflows and identify areas for improvement
  • Advise line manager on resource gaps and flag potential issues
  • Plan resources for large overseas projects and inform talent manager and line manager of new recruitment needs
  • Work closely with talent manager in delivering recruitment briefs on time
  • Ensure account delivers consistently against all contractual obligations including SLAs and KPIs
  • Identify bottle necks/pain points for the validation network, suggest resolution and advise
  • Identify training requirements for team members to ensure their adherence to processes and workflow
  • Plan, prepare and implement the induction of new starters
  • Lead overseas projects for up to 3 weeks (2 - 3 times per year)
Finance Management
  • Quarterly planning
  • Regular budget spend reports - monitor and analyse progression of spends
  • Flag important budget fluctuations, peaks to the Client and line manager and track spend progress
  • Monthly financial reconciliation
  • Ensure full compliance with all financial procedures and policies
Client Management
  • Co-ordinate between all relevant parties: Hogarth team, Client traffic and cross-functional teams and Validation network
  • Set and manage client expectations for deliverables and timeframes
  • Understand and work under the confidentiality policy
  • Build strong, trusting relationships with all key client stakeholders
Requirements
  • A minimum of 4 years Project Management/Traffic background in an ad agency or in-house creative department or language service agency
  • Experience managing multi-market projects
  • Experience working on global brands, ideally across all media, including print, interactive and film
  • Experience working on localisation or linguistic projects will be a bonus
  • Demonstrable experience managing total creative workflow, i.e, internal briefing, briefing to vendors/studios, managing key milestones/deadlines, presentations/internal approvals, executions, delivery
  • Proven project management skills
  • Self-driven, organised and have an eye for detail
  • Proficient with technology and tools
  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in high-pressure situations and tight time frames
  • A hands-on, can do approach to solving problems
  • Must be able to work on-site at the office in Singapore at times as required, for several weeks at a time
