Job Description

The 'Transformation Manager - Singapore' is responsible for supporting Head of Transformation Asia in driving the global integration and evolution of the Allianz Technology operating model.

This role will lead the change management and industrialize the processes, governance, and controls required to establish a globally aligned, customer-centric shared service capability to support the program delivery.

The role is responsible for the effective delivery of IT Infrastructure programs & Application change programs, complementing Allianz Technology and the customer priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • This role will report to the Head of Transformation Asia and support the Head of IT Asia in leading the strategic change agenda.
  • Responsible for the development and the implementation of the transformation roadmap for the Operating Entity/region.
  • The delivery coverage here includes the projects sponsored by the global/group teams, all application & infrastructure projects warranting customer sponsorship, and large transformational projects such as the implementation of a Global toolsets and processes.
  • Participate in the annual budget planning process in partnership with the account management, Portfolio management, and finance teams. Collaborate with the customer counterparts to ensure alignment of programs in support of the budget planning discussions.
  • Establish a culture of ownership, customer focus, and "one team", through effective implementation of the following:
  • Undertake periodic review of the demand. Plan and coordinate delivery activities. Develop scope and budget for delivery projects. Ensure timely delivery to meet customer expectations.
  • Customer focus - Build productive working relationships with customers for business growth.
  • Define and track KPIs for successful program delivery. Manage the delivery teams to ensure timely and accurate customer deliveries.
  • Oversee daily activities of the delivery team and provide direction and guidance as needed. Analyze and troubleshoot delivery issues in a timely fashion.
  • Perform resource allocations and workload assignments according to delivery requirements.
  • Evaluate the performance of team members and determine training needs. Ensure that team maintains a high level of competence and operational excellence.
  • Develop process improvements to achieve cost-effectiveness and time saving.
Key requirements / skills / experience
  • Degree in information technology or other comparable technical qualification
  • 10+ years of relevant experience from multi-national organizations. The ideal candidate would have experience leading complex programs with transformation objectives, Management of large-scale delivery responsibilities, ideally from an insurance company, or a Shared services / Service Provider organization.
  • 10+ years of program/project management experience is required. Strong experience in managing project financials, demand management, change management, managing distributed teams, KPI tracking, and reporting alignment within a complex matrix organization would be advantageous.
  • 5+ years of experience supporting the sales cycle in a consulting or shared services environment. Experience with bid/proposal preparation, exposure to regulatory needs, and the ability to negotiate contracts is a must.
  • Must have worked in a matrix organization, with a strong track record of meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Must have strong exposure to AGILE, DevOps, and Waterfall-based SDLC methods.
  • Must have strong exposure to the functioning of the program management office, standardization of processes, tools, and associated governance.
  • Goal-oriented self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experienced in managing multi-cultural and geographical dispersed teams through both direct and influence management
