Job Description
Responsibilities l Read given material and research industry-specific terminology l Convert text from one language to one or more others l Ensure translated content conveys origina Responsibilities l Read given material and research industry-specific terminology l Convert text from one language to one or more others l Ensure translated content conveys original meaning and tone l Cross-reference specialized dictionaries and translation tools to check quality of translation l Proofread translated texts for grammar, spelling and punctuation accuracy l Follow up with internal team members and clients to ensure translation meets their needs l Edit content with an eye toward maintaining its original format (e.g. font and structure) Requirements and skills l Proven work experience as a Translator, Interpreter or similar role l Fluency in at least two languages(English and your native language) l Excellent proofreading skills with the ability to identify grammar, spelling and punctuation errors l Good knowledge of content editing tools l Familiarity with translation software l Time-management skills l BSc in Translation, Interpreting or similar field l Additional certification in Linguistics is a plus l Obsessed with social trends and pop culture. Know what is and isn't relevant to audience and wider culture. l Deep passion for mobile entertainment, social media.
