TRANSPORT AND CUSTOMER LEAD, SINGAPORE
This role reports to the APAC Transport and Customs Leader and is part of the overall logistics function supporting the ongoing business priorities, service and cost targets against plan. This role will interface closely with the Distribution Centre and Local Transport Lead as well as the Supply teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As our Transport and Customer Lead, you are responsible for managing the relationship with the freight and customs providers to ensure they deliver the logistics service, cost and cash KPI\xe2\x80\x99s.
Your main focus :
Be the subject matter expert and apply knowledge of local and international import/export shipping regulations and requirements
Manage all activities related to freight and customs, fostering good relationships with internal business stakeholders and external service providers
Ensure that the freight and customs providers deliver all KPIs for service, cost, quality, safety and cash. And continually identify innovative opportunities to improve service and cost
Lead daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly drumbeat related to the freight and customs with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery of shipments to warehouse
Forge strong working links with the regional functions (Operational Excellence, Procurement, Supply Chain Finance, QA and HSE, Transport and Customs) to ensure all the reporting and regulatory obligations are met

You will be reporting to APAC Transport and Customs Leader and you will work closely together with several departments such as Supply Chain, Distribution Centre and Transportation. All your colleagues are energetic and fun loving. Working in the team, you will be working closely in the team and you will get tremendous support for you to excel in this role.

Diploma or tertiary qualifications in Business/Transport and Logistics with minimum of 4 years\' experience in a similar role delivered cost savings
Understanding of the 3PL market, knowledge of outsourced shipping and distribution requirements
Strong analytical and problem solving abilities - solid understanding of key business drivers and ability to add value
Influencing skills \xe2\x80\x93 ability to build collaborative relationships, lead cross functionally when required
Proficiency in Microsoft tools, especially in Excel, Powerpoint and Power BI. Experienced SAP user is preferred.
