What the role is:

At Training Command (based in Home Team Academy at Old Choa Chu Kang), our mission is to train and develop the core and professional competencies of SPF Officers. As a Transport Officer in Training Command, you play an important role in ensuring effective and efficient administrative support to help in achieving our organisational goals. You will assist internal customers directly in planning and supporting the transportation and vehicular training and operational needs. You will be placed under the Management Executive Scheme
What you will be working on:
You will be required to work with and manage problems that require fairly complicated analysis in your day-to-day work. You need to oversee and work closely with vehicle agents and external workshops arranged by the Police Logistics Department to ensure that the fleet is well-maintained. This includes activating round-the-clock emergency breakdown services (such as towing services and onsite recovery). You must be comfortable managing a high volume of work with our various users to ensure audit accountability. You would also be required to process some financial transactions promptly, within a stipulated timeframe.
What we are looking for:
We are looking for a meticulous, proactive and dynamic individual to be part of our Logistics & Transport team. REQUIREMENTS o Knowledge of Microsoft office applications and SAP programmes is preferred. o Strong analytical skills and is prepared to handle a high volume of requests o Meticulous and independent worker who can carry out your responsibilities with minimum supervision; o Possess effective interpersonal and communication skills; o Good time management and be able to meet tight deadlines; o Prior experience in logistics will be an advantage.
