Job Description

Our client is a 3rd party full-service supplier of logistics and engineering solutions. This position shall manage external and internal transports to ensure timely inventory movements. Besides, this position will need to manage hauliers from Singapore and Malaysia too. JOB DIMENSION (SCOPE)

• Manage and supervise transportation operations, to ensure all transportation activities are carried out efficiently and effectively
• Coordinate and collaborate with both internal & externals teams \xe2\x80\x93 operations, order fulfilment teams and hauliers to ensure timely and accurate inventory movements
• Work with the head of department to implement and maintain transportation management systems to track and optimize the inventory movements
• Generating, submission and booking orders for manipulations
• Maintain relationship with key stakeholders and manage customer feedback
• Day to day escalation on container quality, order reprioritization for fulfilment, shipment administration, safety concerns, etc.
• Preparation of monthly reports

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma in Supply Chain Management/ Logistics Management/ Transport or relevant study
• Min. 3-5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in inventory & transportation management with problem solving & analytical skills in a dynamic environment
• Knowledge in SAP order processing
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Customer-oriented & excellent interpersonal skills
