We develop new and innovative ways to improve how these services are delivered across the organization, leveraging our global scope and strength to serve our organization within and across borders.This position resides in Singapore and reports directly to the Senior Manager for Asia Pacific CoRe Travel Procurement.Work you'll doThe key job responsibilities include the following:

  • Responsible for Deloitte Southeast Asia Travel Operations and Procurement
  • Ability to collaborate across the Deloitte Southeast Asia Member firms, various geographies including Global Travel Team members
  • Coordination and implementation of global air, hotel, ground and other travel discount programs
  • Strong problem solving and presentation skills
  • Manage categories proactively based on internal/external trends and data and be able to communicate effectively to enable informed decisions by leadership and create understanding of the value we bring
  • Administration of on-line booking tools
  • Manage direct reports as required
  • Manage travel data from multiple sources ensuring high accuracy and timely delivery to identify trends, gaps and opportunities
  • Monitor supplier performance based on metrics and update on internal/external trends
  • Ability to respond to inquiries from leadership and stakeholders with accuracy and timeliness
  • Communicate security, airline, hotel and ground transportation requirements clearly and in a timely fashion to key stakeholders and travelers
  • Establish and monitor programs for support of safety and security for our employees while traveling for business
  • Assess new opportunities for continuous improvement through new travel technologies and process enhancements
  • Assist global category leadership in managing supplier and stakeholder relationships to improve internal client satisfaction
  • Management of the Travel Management Company (TMC) operations and coordination with the Key dedicated contacts and operations team members in the TMC
  • Managing the Concur Online Booking Tool including support of issue resolution, raising support tickets and coordinating with Deloitte's technology group and the SAP Concur support team

QualificationsSkills Set
  • Multi-lingual ability with strong written and spoken English skills
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in MS office (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Industry knowledge on travel categories, procurement and strong negotiation skills
  • Customer services management, issue / escalation management and resolution
  • Demonstrates a sense of urgency
  • Works with cross-functional teams and leaders across many levels of management
  • Successfully works in a fast-pasted environment and multi-task projects and tasks
  • The ability to work with a high level of detail with accuracy, precision, and organization
Other Qualifications
  • Experience in or with travel procurement in large corporates with a strong client service orientation, preferably in the Asia Pacific region
  • Demonstrated abilities in:
  • Working independently in an unstructured environment; developing structure and clarity around the ambiguous by taking a concept and developing ideas/about solutions to achieve progress
  • Being self-directed in identifying what has to get done and in doing it with minimal direction
  • Using good judgment about when to ask for direction and when to act independently

  • Understanding, documenting, and improving business processes
  • Organization, task planning and setting/meeting deadlines
