Job Description
PRIMARY FUNCTION
Reporting to the Accounting Manager (AP), this role is responsible for supporting accounts payable operations to ensure accurate recording of expenses and timely settlement to vendors, as well as other accounting and month end closing activities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Validation and posting of invoices (including resolving system iDocs)
- Validation and posting of staff claims
- Reconciliation of vendor & other statements & balances
- Responding to queries from vendors & other departments
- Support month-end closing activities
- Support audit and tax-related activities
- Support process improvement and system enhancement projects as needed
- Ad-hoc finance related assignments
- Degree in Accounting
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Good organisation skill & possess an eye for detail
- Effective communication skills (verbal & written)
- Self-starter - high energy levels, positive & enthusiastic
