Date: 28-Dec-2022 Location: Singapore, 01, SG Company: Shiseido Role Objective As part of the Shiseido Travel Retail Asia Pacific entity, the Regional Sales Director, Southeast Asia & Oceania will be based in Singapore and will be in-charge of the entire region\xe2\x80\x99s business with full P&L accountability (net sales to marketing margin & sell out) for the region. Reporting to the Vice President of Travel Retail APAC, the incumbent is responsible to develop the turnover, ensuring both image of the brands and quality of customer relationship with Retailers and Consumers are respected. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Retailers Relationship:
Ensure efficient relationship with Retailers and translate the strategic goals of Retailers into retail operational plans to achieve the required targeted growth in sales and profit.
Develop market shares by analyzing quantitative and qualitative sell-out data.
Sales Strategy & Performance:
Develop Sales by defining the strategy with Retailers and identifying the growth levers.
Define the sales objectives and share the strategy of the Retailers with the Area Sales Managers to implement concrete actions.
Build sales strategies that are relevant to the region.
Spend time with retail sales teams and customers to understand and identify critical issues to ensure that the best development for the field / retail teams are implemented in cooperation with the Education team.
Leadership:
Take a lead role in building a strong sales management culture, coach the Sales team, identify skills & opportunities for development, provide advice & guidance on issues when needed.
Manage & review performance and progress of the team, setting objectives & targets and guiding the team to achieve them.
Job Requirements:
Possess a recognized Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree or Master
At least 15 years of relevant working experience with proven sales record
Prior experience in sales either in Beauty retail industry or Travel Retail will be advantageous
Entrepreneur spirit and sense of ownership: mature, independent, responsible and a strong team player
Good communication skills and highly adaptable to different cultures
Strong negotiation skills and team management experience
Analytical and organized with attention to details
Able to prioritize numerous tasks and work under pressure to deliver within deadlines
Strong command of oral and written communication skills in English
Strong Microsoft Office skills especially Excel and PowerPoint
Frequent travelling is required (approximately >50%)
