MAIN PURPOSE
Shiseido Travel Retail is a fast-growing organization, focusing on distribution within Duty Free Zones - Airports and Downtown Stores. Shiseido Group holds more than 10 brands from Luxury to premium range across the Perfume and Cosmetics categories.
Reporting to the Visual Merchandising Manager, the incumbent can look forward to global exposure and growth within the company.
Managing selected Skincare brands under the Shiseido Group, this position plays a vital role in creating and executing our standard visual merchandising guidelines to enhance the aesthetic appeal whilst ensuring consistency for counter displays, planograms for new/existing counter openings and promotions across the APAC Regions. He/she will also be responsible for ensuring that seasonal updates are implemented on time. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for the overall management of seasonal planograms from planning to execution in accordance to our Regions’ assortment
Ensure that the visual merchandising guidelines are consistent with brand’s aesthetics and are regionally relevant
Responsible for forecasting of VM display tools for seasonal launches and counter openings
Collaborate with the Global Team to adapt global planograms, animations/outposts and seasonal launches’ guidelines specific for our Regions
Responsible for working with the Store Design Team for new counter openings, renovations and ordering of VM counter tools
Collaborate with Marketing and Commercial Teams to understand market needs to maximize products’ exposure and to optimize sales potential
Maintenance of POS database
Manage and liaise with vendors to ensure that POSMs are produced qualitatively and delivered within the stipulated timeline
Develop and strengthen vendor’s ability to meet the Brands’ standards and expectations
Manage and lead projects with VM Manager
Manage VM budget and update VM Manager and SDVM Director on a regular basis
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to establish broader VM needs to drive sales
REQUIREMENTS
Degree in Industrial Design, Visual Merchandising, or Graphic Design
At least 3 years of experience in a Travel Retail or Local Market environment, preferably in Beauty industry. More experienced candidates could be considered at the Assistant Manager level.
Ability to guide or mentor junior team members
Seasoned player in handling APAC portfolio will be an added advantage
Good computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office, as well as design softwares - Adobe Illustrator, PhotoShop and InDesign
Proficiency in 3D modelling softwares (Sketchup will be an added advantage)
Good sense of design and possess an eye for detail

Ability to multi-task and work within tight timelines
Possess good communication and interpersonal skills with all levels
Ability to read and communicate in English and Mandarin (to communicate with our Mandarin speaking associates)
