Date: 14-Apr-2023 Location: Singapore, 01, SG Company: Shiseido PURPOSE: The Talent Acquisition Assistant Manager is responsible for the management of end-to-end Talent Acquisition processes including leading talent acquisition projects for Shiseido Travel Retail Asia Pacific (TRA). The successful candidate will develop strong relationships internally and externally to ensure effective sourcing and a robust candidate pipeline. In addition, the role will drive the end-to-end recruitment life cycle operations including the job offer process and reporting activities e.g., status and recruitment budgets. Essential business activities expected from this position: Talent Acquisition Strategy:
Partner closely with Human Resources Business Partners (HRBP) to understand the Company\xe2\x80\x99s strategy and proactively map a strong succession pipeline for business-critical roles.
Gain a keen understanding from hiring managers to understand the job specifications to establish effective recruiting strategies for the various roles, focusing foremost on direct sourcing.
Build commercially sustainable relationships with recruitment partners and agencies to augment recruitment strategy.
Keep abreast of the recruitment best practices and leverage talent/market insights to provide advice to business stakeholders and HRBP in the refinement of recruitment strategy and ensure optimal deployment.
Talent Acquisition Process
Custodian of Talent Acquisition policies (e.g., recruitment, referral) with periodic review and refinement as needed.
Manage the full recruitment process to deliver timely hiring needs; including job briefing, job posting, interview/assessment approach, offer negotiation, etc.
Advance the talent acquisition process by proposing improvements based on learning experiences and leveraging on innovative recruitment tools and channels.
Dashboard and Reporting
Ensure active and accurate tracking of recruitment activities and performance.
Analyse and prepare data-driven insights within the recruitment space.
Report Talent Acquisition related analytics and topics to HR and business stakeholders in line with the pre-defined cycle plan.
Vendor Engagement and Contract Management
Manage recruitment partners (agencies/vendors) including administration of associated contracts and agreements.
Ensure timely evaluation of the quality of service and candidates provided by partners against established criteria in accordance with related policies and procedures.
Individuals who do well in this role at Shiseido typically possess:
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a relevant field.
At least 5 years of experience in Human Resource functions, including a minimum of 3 years of Talent Acquisition experience.
Experience in FMCG, Beauty, or Travel Retail is an added advantage.
A self-er able to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Being proficient in Mandarin is added advantage.
Demonstrate strong stakeholder management skills with a collaborative approach to navigate complexities and build relationships.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems. SuccessFactors experience is a plus.
Demonstrate an up-to-date working knowledge of relevant best practices, tools, and platforms.
Proficient in Microsoft Office in particular, Excel and PowerPoint. PowerBI experience is a plus.
