Job Description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe following duties are typical for this classification. Incumbents may not perform all of the listed duties and/or may be required to perform additional or different duties from those set forth below to address business needs and changing business practices.

  • Perform treasury functions and activities to the treasury department.
  • Prepare and communicate all previous day banking activity.
  • Assist and support in physical cash counting activities on daily, weekly and monthly basis.
  • Check, inspect and verify daily cash transactions.
  • Inspect, investigate and resolve discrepancies in cash transactions.
  • Document all cash transaction activities. (Cheque Books, Cheque Voucher, Cheque's and other related docs)
  • Perform opening and closing of cash daily.
  • Check, verify and reconcile bank deposits and bank payments of customers.
  • For Cash Payment, Payment must be deposited to the bank account within the day or in the morning of the following day.
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIESKnowledge of:
  • Theory, principles, practices, and policies of a treasury program.
  • Advanced principles and practices of Cash Management Reporting
  • Principles and procedures of financial record keeping and reporting.
  • Principles of supervision, training, and performance evaluation. Office procedures, methods, and equipment including computers and applicable software applications such as word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and other specialized applications related to area of assignment.
  • An Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System. ERP processing requirements and software configurations.
Ability to:
  • Perform responsible and complex treasury management activities.
  • Perform cash flow analysis.
  • Analyze problems/issues and recommend alternative solutions.
  • Prepare, analyze, evaluate and interpret financial statements and investment reports.
  • Perform complex accounting and financial reporting.
  • Operate office equipment including computers and supporting word processing, spreadsheet, database, and other specialized applications related to area of assignment.
EXPERIENCE
  • 2 and above years of increasingly responsible financial or accounting experience.

  • Real Estate or Construction Company: 1 year (Preferred)
