Re:Nue is the social enterprise arm of The Salvation Army. By re-using, recycling and restoring donations in kind from the public and corporations, it generates income through its Family Stores to support our mission to provide holistic care to the community.



Re:Nue also strives to assist humanitarian needs in times of crisis and emergency, leveraging on its logistics network to deliever aid to crisis areas in the region quickly and efficiently.


Working closely with local and international organisations, Re:Nue engages them in meaningful programmes for their coprate social responsibility initiatives.



DESIGNATION : Truck Driver



RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform assigned driving duties as directed by the Supervisor, ensuring timely and efficient transportation of goods. Load and unload donated items safely at designated collection points and deliver them to Thrift Stores, Centres, or other assigned locations. Assist in clearing donation bins at various locations when required. Conduct daily vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness, cleanliness, and compliance with safety standards. Maintain and update necessary vehicle checklists, mileage logs, and records for accountability. Adhere to traffic regulations, workplace safety protocols, and operational guidelines to ensure smooth delivery operations. Report any vehicle issues, delays, or operational challenges to the Supervisor promptly.




QUALIFICATIONS

Skills & Competencies:

Possess a valid Class 4 Singapore Driving Licence. At least 1-2 years of truck driving experience in logistics or delivery operations preferred. Familiarity with Singapore roads and traffic regulations. Ability to safely operate and maneuver trucks in various road conditions. Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge to perform daily checks and ensure roadworthiness. Physical fitness with the ability to handle and lift items up to 20kg for extended periods. Good time management and reliability to meet collection and delivery schedules. Able to speak and write simple English to communicate with team members and complete documentation.

Other Requirements:

Strong sense of responsibility and commitment to workplace safety. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays if required. A positive and team-oriented attitude to support operational efficiency.
