Roles & Responsibilities
- Plan, allocate & deploy drivers and vehicles to ensure daily transport operational activities are met within schedules
- Manage and review schedules & routing to ensure cost efficiency
- Continuously improve the route efficiency and performance improvement strategies
- Maximise the utilisation rate of all vehicles
- Liaise with the drivers on any change of jobs/tasks via TMS & messaging systems
- Manage fleet of heavy vehicles to ensure availability and serviceability of the fleet to meet the demands of daily operations
- Resolve any operational problems encountered by drivers with external or internal customers
- Handle any ad-hoc issues that may arise on the day of operations, e.g. vehicle breakdown, driver report sick, urgent leave, urgent requests
- Liaise with workshop on vehicle repair / routine servicing
- Any other duties as assigned by the management.
- Monday to Friday 830am to 530pm
- Sat 830am to 12pm
