Job Description
We are seeking a qualified and experienced tutor to join our team and teach students at Inspire Maths. We are expanding to teach English, Maths, Science, Coding and Chinese. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education, be kind, and able to build confidence in students through an engaging, visual and fun approach to learning.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct engaging and interactive enrichment sessions, incorporating fun activities and games to teach the subjects
- Create lesson plans and teaching materials for each session based on student needs and learning styles
- Identify areas where students may need extra help or additional resources and provide necessary support
- Assess student progress regularly and adjust teaching strategies as needed
- Communicate with parents or guardians on student progress and answer any questions they may have
- Collaborate with other tutors and staff to ensure a positive and productive learning environment
- Bachelor\'s degree in Education or related field
- Previous experience tutoring or teaching relevant subject
- Strong knowledge of the subject matter and ability to teach to students at different levels and learning styles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students and parents
- Patient, kind, and empathetic towards students, with a focus on building confidence and a love of learning
