Your role

We are looking for entrepreneurial individuals to be part of the Strategic Clients Development Team. The position offers broad exposure to the capabilities across the Bank and provides the opportunity for the candidate to work closely with cross divisional partners to deliver on the personal and corporate needs of strategic relationships

The candidate must have a passion and curiosity for understanding how businesses are structured and positioned in the market place. He/she should be sharp, analytical and knows how to apply critical thinking in the commercial setting. The candidate must also be a self-starter with good interpersonal skills to establish strong working relations with relevant colleagues to drive action plans aimed at expanding UBS's share of wallet.

Key responsibilities

- Conduct extensive market research in selected industry sectors to identify prospective entrepreneur relationships for coverage

- Build and share with Client Advisors market and industry sectors intelligence relevant to prospective entrepreneurs operating in the targeted industry sectors

- Build a database of prospective leads and work jointly with Markets/cross-divisional colleagues to bring connectivity and inroads to these prospects

- Work closely with Business Sector Heads, Market Team Heads and Client Advisors to execute on prospecting strategies; activities include

- Delivering insightful prospect overview and identifying engagement opportunities across personal and corporate needs;

- Liaising with cross-divisional stakeholders to showcase Onebank capabilities

- Systematic follow through for eventual prospect conversion

Your expertise

- Proficiency in the Chinese language is ideal (reading & writing)

- Entrepreneurial mind-set, resourcefulness, ability to apply critical thinking

- Strong in relationship management, good communication skills

- Good understanding of the financial markets and business needs of an entrepreneur

- Collaborative team player
