Job Description

Underwriting:

• Attends to all inquiries, reports and follow-ups of clients in all lines of insurance.

• Prepares quotation in coordination with HO Underwriters and Branch Head.

• Ensures policies issued are in accordance with the underwriting guidelines.

• Monitor renewal of insurance policies.

• Prepares, issues, and delivers renewal notice, policy, and endorsement.

• Conducts inspection for quotation purposes; Prepares and submit inspection report.

• Prepares monthly production and endorsement report.

• Files copies of quotation, inspection report, renewal notice, policy, endorsement, and production reports.

• Files the underwriting copy and sends it to HO for Audit.

Claims:

• Attends to claims reports, inquiries, and follow-ups of clients in all lines of insurance.

• Verifies the coverage of the claim based on the policy, inspection, and assessment of damages.

• Receives and requires the submission of documents from the assured and endorses the vehicle to affiliated motor shop for quotation and endorsement to Head Office.

• Evaluates original quotations and checks the completeness of claim documents to be submitted to Head Office.

• Issues Letter of Authority to affiliated motor shop and follow-ups completeness of repair within the authority.

• Collects salvaged parts or items for inventory and sale or proper disposal.

• Prepares and releases payment to assured.

• Perform other tasks as assigned by the immediate superior.
