Who you\'ll be working for The primary purpose of this role is to assist the Underwriting and Operations Teams in delivering a high-quality client service. The successful candidate will support the underwriters and operational functions to meet business objectives.

What requirements you\'ll need to be eligible

  • Min Diploma
  • Previous experience in a similar role preferably
  • Experience and knowledge with other insurance products desirable.
  • Required to have basic Financial Lines insurance product knowledge.
  • Required to have experience, either in administration of Financial Lines insurance policy or Financial Lines processing experience.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills both in verbal and written forms.
  • Well-developed analytical and organizational skills.
  • Meticulous and possess problem solving skills.
  • Experience working to deadlines/SLA.
What you\'ll be doing on the job

Process Management and Customer Service
  • To prepare Underwriting information for both New Business and Renewals, review and input data into Underwriting systems compiling underwriting information and completing Underwriting worksheets as per Underwriting procedure.
  • To support external sales intermediaries on policy servicing matters.
  • To collaborate and communicate with internal departments for credit control and claims matters.
  • To assist Finance and billing with unreconciled accounts and enquiries.
  • To review policy documents and provide guidance to the offshore processing unit on policy documentation.
  • To support Underwriter to ensure underwriting files are complete and fulfil audit requirements.
  • To support Underwriters in monitoring and tracking of monthly production to ensure premium booking is timely.
  • To support the development and implementation of business processing tools or system enhancements by acting as the Subject Matter Expert and assist in requirements gathering and testing (UAT)
  • Any other ad hoc duties allocated.
Service Delivery & Quality Adherence
  • Build good working relationships with Underwriting, Finance and Operations Teams.
  • Good collaboration with offshore processing unit to ensure excellent quality policy documentation.
  • Build strong working relationships with sales intermediaries, proactively monitor, and support the completion of their policies, ensuring service standards and quality levels are met.
  • To provide general assistance to underwriters and other administrative duties as assigned.
  • To independently manage requests and queries from internal and external stakeholders as required.
Continuous Improvement
  • To identify regular opportunities for improvement, provide support and/or be involved in Business Improvement Initiatives as required.
  • To escalate issues and resolution proposal proactively when necessary.
Team Involvement
  • Support and deputise for other team member\xe2\x80\x99s duties during his/her absence.
  • Collaborate with and support others within the Team.
