Responsibilities:
- Assist Financial Lines team in underwriting of the various products (i.e., Professional Indemnity, Medical Malpractice, Directors' & Officers' Management Liability, Cyber, Crime etc) including triaging inquiries, preparing underwriting information, following up with intermediaries, and closing deals
- Ensure compliance with internal and external regulations and guidelines.
- Regularly collect, compile and analyse market info to share with the team.
- Support credit control in payment collection when needed by coordinating with intermediaries
- Tracking, reporting and analysing team's referrals, backlogs and other productivity and efficiency related management requirements
- Be the digital ambassador of the team.
- Recommend and implement initiatives in streamlining policies, processes, and procedures to meet business needs.
- Provide interpretation and advice regarding polices, process and procedures.
- Maintain accurate data in relevant systems and databases.
- Minimum 3+ years of underwriting experience in insurance business together with relevant policy documentation handling experience.
- Basic knowledge of the insurance industry.
- Strong analytical, communication & interpersonal skills.
