Job Description


:As part of the Operations Team, the role supports Regional Underwriters.

  • 7-10 years of relevant experience in the Insurance industry
  • Knowledge and understanding of Property or Energy Insurance is mandatory
  • Ability to manage a small team
  • Certification in Business Process Improvement, eg-Six Sigma.
  • Strong user skills in Microsoft Office Package (special focus on Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Track Record in managing demanding stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills - reading, written and verbal
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Key Responsibilities:
  • To support operations activities to accurately reflect the terms and conditions of business written in the systems
  • To mainly manage property deals in close collaboration with the Underwriter
  • To support the Underwriting team with renewal preparation (deal analysis of renewal accounts) and endorsement triaging and preparation
  • To prepare and issue documents (binders, policies, endorsements, and certificates) to customers
  • To issue invoices where required, including Insurance Premium Tax calculations
  • To be in contact with customers and brokers regularly and attend customer and broker meetings
