In the current dynamically changing business environment, organisations could be exposed to a plethora of risks such as strategic, operational, compliance, etc. Synapxe is committed to fostering an environment within the organisation that enables proactive identification, management, monitoring and reporting of risks that we may need to deal with. We also need to foster a risk culture that embraces openness, supports transparency and welcomes constructive challenges and promotes collaboration, consultation and co-operation. Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) is a comprehensive and integrated approach to identifying, assessing, and managing risks within an organisation. The primary goal of Synapxe's ERM is to enhance Synapxe's ability to achieve its objectives by effectively managing potential events that could impact its operations. These events, or risks, can arise from various sources, including financial, operational, strategic, compliance, and reputational factors.
This internship role is aimed at providing interns an opportunity to understand Synapxe risk appetite, enhance governance and risk transformational activities, whilst strengthening Synapxe's risk culture and raising risk competencies.
The selected interns will participate but not limited to the following:

• Participate in Synapxe risk assessment exercise
• Conduct research and support enhancements to the risk management approach
• Support content creation to be used for risk training and creation/ generation of reports
• Support the development of the GRC system, together with the Project Team, for cybersecurity & technology risk assessment
• Provide secretariate support for Risk Management Committee meetings and preparation of meeting materials and minutes
• Support business resilience review in BCM Programme vis-a-vis Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and Business Impact Analysis (BIA)
• Review, consolidation, analysis and management reporting of the BIA results
• Liaise with BCM coordinators to follow-up on outstanding inputs and raise thoughtful concerns about BIA results
• Support in coordinating and tracking BIA submissions across departments
• Provide administrative support for BIA workshops and/or act as facilitator during these sessions
• Prepare presentation materias, reports and dashboards related to BIA status and outcome

About you:

• Be pursuing a Bachelor Degree in Business Analytics, Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Risk Management or related field
• Graduating in May/Dec 2026 or May 2027
• Good team player with strong analytical and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Passionate and keen to make a difference to re-imagine the future of HealthTech
