Support in all aspect of warehouse operations and logistics activities (such as receipt, packing/unpacking of goods, inspection, distribution, warehousing, stocktake etc).
Ensure warehouse safety tidiness, and cleanliness.
Handling and packing of Dangerous Goods in accordance to IATA regulations.
Proper stock handling and picking accuracy.
Maintain, manage and assist OEMs in ensuring stock inventory accuracy and management of stock in accordance to Quality standard guide.
Participate in mid & annual stock take.
Logistics and Delivery Handling Tasks
To handle full spectrum of import and export shipping documentation (shipping invoice, packing list, delivery note, custom permit, etc) as per IRAS MES requirements.
Prepare and ensure timely execution of orders to internal/ external customers.
Coordinate with freight forwarders and service providers for shipment and transport arrangement.
Follow up on status of shipment arrangement and work closely with appointed freight forwarders.
To generate inventory and storage movement reports upon request from stakeholders.
Work in accordance to ISO9001, AN/EN9120 and HQSE standards
Any ad-hoc duties as assigned.
AOG Support Tasks
Manage 24/7 AOG support (on rotating roster basis, additional allowances given for AOG duties).
Data Management and Documentation
Performs related ERP system receiving/ outgoing transactions.
Perform timely and accurate data entry into ERP system (for receiving/ outgoing transactions).
Handle Import/ Export documentation such as Export Control, Dangerous Goods/etc.
Department Improvement Activities
Participate in Area Projects and Improvement Efforts.
Support process of continuous improvement with customers, vendors and providers
Requirements:
GCE \'O\'/\'N\' Level/Nitec/Higher Nitec/Diploma in Logistics/Transportation.
At least 1-2 years related experience in logistics/warehousing environment preferred. Those without experience but with the right aptitude may be considered.
Required to carry heavy items, due to the nature of the job.
Comfortable with manual/physical labor duties.
Able to work under pressure and perform OT when required.
Able to operate electric stacker/forklift/reach truck would be an added advantage.
Basic computer skills in MS-office (MS Words/Excel) preferred.
Able to perform 24/7 AOG standby duties (on rotating basis, allowances given).
Able to commence work immediately or on short notice will be an added advantage.
