Job Description
Required and Preferred Qualifications
- Graduate of BS Nursing or any related course
- Should be US Registered Nurse license (USRN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is required.
- Two (2) years of experience in the relevant clinical specialty. (Emergency Nursing and Case Management preferred.)
- Working knowledge of and basic skills with computers
- Willing to work on a Night Shift schedule (following US time)
- Responsible for reviewing patient medical records to determine medical necessity and when necessary will communicate directly with patient's insurance provider.
- Performing Pre-Admission, Admission, Pay or Notification, Continued Stay, and/or Retro-Authorization reviews per policy and procedure
- Responsible for promptly communicating with the team and leaders as requested regarding projects or cases assigned.
- Addressing and rectifying any client complaints as assigned.
- Staying abreast of relevant diagnostics, interventions, and pharmacological advances in medicine. As well as completing assigned education modules and training.
