Should be US Registered Nurse license (USRN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is required.
Two (2) years of experience in the relevant clinical specialty. (Emergency Nursing and Case Management preferred.)
Working knowledge of and basic skills with computers
Willing to work on a Night Shift schedule (following US time)
Responsibilities and Duties
Responsible for reviewing patient medical records to determine medical necessity and when necessary will communicate directly with patient's insurance provider.
Performing Pre-Admission, Admission, Pay or Notification, Continued Stay, and/or Retro-Authorization reviews per policy and procedure
Responsible for promptly communicating with the team and leaders as requested regarding projects or cases assigned.
Addressing and rectifying any client complaints as assigned.
Staying abreast of relevant diagnostics, interventions, and pharmacological advances in medicine. As well as completing assigned education modules and training.
