JOB PURPOSE: We are looking to provide a learning opportunity for an intern in the management and delivery of regional evidence generation activities in a dynamic, cross-functional, and multidisciplinary environment. The intern will work under the supervision of the Health Economics & Epidemiology Head and collaborate closely with the Regional Health Economics & Epidemiology Project Manager. KEY ACTIVITIES: You will be required to:

• Take part in organization and delivery of GSK internal meetings and region-led internal training activities e.g., Health Economics & Epidemiology Hour (HEPI hour)
• Support quality checks of health economics/epidemiology evidence generation activities
• Conduct management monitoring for regional evidence generation activities

• Support in coordination of internal resources and third parties for the flawless execution of projects
• Support day to day management tasks of Regional Project Manager

LEARNING OUTCOMES: You will be able to understand and get exposure:

• Overview of the regional/ local evidence generation processes, activities, and their position in the Research & Development lifecycle
• End to end project management life cycle: planning, execution, evaluation, and archiving, which covers multidisciplinary skills: time management, finance, communication, and quality
• General scientific and business aspects of vaccine portfolios, including sitting in on relevant meetings
• Exposure to senior leaders in pharma
• Exposure to business skills

• Educational background – Undergraduate studying life sciences, business, finance, arts, pharmaceutical science, public health, health sciences, medical background who is interested in learning more about a business environment and vaccines

Behavioural Skills and Competencies

• Strong written and oral communications skills
• Excellent English proficiency
• Meticulous, organized, and dedicated
• Willing to stretch beyond his/her basic education, i.e., multidisciplinary approach

• Proficient in computer skills (Office) and technologically adept
