Job Description
Vascular Medical Technologist!
Help diagnose and monitor vascular diseases using
cutting-edge ultrasound & non-invasive tests
.Key Responsibilities
Perform vascular diagnostic procedures including:
+ Finger/ankle/toe-brachial pressure index and exercise ABI tests
+ Arterial and venous ultrasound studies (upper & lower limbs, carotid arteries, abdominal aorta, visceral arteries)-Pre- and post-operative vascular assessments (e.g. arteriovenous fistula, bypass surgery, stent follow-up)
+ Varicose veins and venous reflux studies
+ Specialised studies for vascular compression syndromes
+ Transcutaneous oxygen pressure (TCPO2) studies
+ Intra-operative vessel scanning for complex cases
Compile examination findings to give preliminary impressions for physicians Work independently in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
Requirements :
Degree in Biomedical Sciences, Medical Technology, Nursing, Biotechnology, Life Sciences (other degrees welcome with A-Level Biology & O-Level Physics) No experience? No problem -
2 years paid on-the-job training provided
Willing to obtain ARDMS RVT certification after training Positive, proactive & eager to learnWhy us?
