Job Description
:
Design, develop, and maintain VB.NET applications with a focus on scalability and performance. Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions for SQL Server databases. Integrate VB.NET applications with enterprise software (ERP, CRM, WMS, etc.) using APIs, web services, or middleware. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (BA, QA, DevOps) in large-scale Agile/Scrum environments. Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Debug, optimize, and refactor legacy VB.NET/SQL code for improved efficiency. Work independently on assigned tasks while adhering to project timelines. Ensure compliance with coding standards, security policies, and best practices. Document technical specifications and system architecture.
Requirements:
5+ years of hands-on experience in VB.NET development. Strong proficiency in SQL Server (T-SQL, query optimization, indexing, SSIS/SSRS is a plus). Experience integrating with enterprise systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, MuleSoft). Familiarity with large-scale software development processes (version control, CI/CD, code reviews). Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. Experience with Windows Forms, WPF, or ASP.NET (Web Forms/MVC) is a plus. * Knowledge of legacy system modernization (migration from VB6 to VB.NET) is desirable.
