Mandai Wildlife Group is the steward of Mandai Wildlife Reserve, a unique wildlife and nature destination in Singapore that is home to world-renown wildlife parks which connect visitors to the fascinating world of wildlife. The Group is driving an exciting rejuvenation plan at Mandai Wildlife Reserve, adjacent to Singapore\'s Central Catchment Nature Reserve, that will integrate five wildlife parks with distinctive nature-based experiences, green public spaces and an eco-friendly resort.

Mandai Wildlife Group advocates for biodiversity, contributes leading wildlife research, develops innovative solutions to promote living sustainably, and collaborates with conservation partners in Singapore and Southeast Asia.

The Group provides funding and in-kind support to Mandai Nature for conservation work across Southeast Asia.

Mandai Global, an entity that is part of the Group, will establish and operate new lines of business anchored in creating positive outcomes for nature and wildlife.

Main duties and responsibilities:

\xc2\xb7 Assist in and conduct post-mortem procedures with pathologists

\xc2\xb7 Perform routine histopathology processing, including tissue paraffin embedding, operation of tissue processor, microtoming, slide staining (routine H&E, histochemistry staining and immunohistochemistry staining)

\xc2\xb7 Organize and manage samples and records

\xc2\xb7 Maintenance of necropsy facilities, specialised equipment, sampling list, SOPs & risk assessment documents

\xc2\xb7 Procurement of consumables and equipment

\xc2\xb7 Adhere to laboratory safety and procedure protocols at all times

Requirements:

\xc2\xb7 Diploma in Biology, Biotechnology, Biomedical Science, Life Science or related fields

\xc2\xb7 1 year hands-on experience in a veterinary, medical or research laboratory advantageous

\xc2\xb7 Familiar and competent with Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Powerpoint, good organization and communication skills

\xc2\xb7 Confident, keen to learn and interested in veterinary laboratory diagnostics, able to work independently and team player with initiative

\xc2\xb7 Training will be provided to successful candidate.

\xc2\xb7 The candidate will report to the veterinary pathologists and lab manager.
