Our client is seeking a qualified individual for the role of Viaduct Supervision Engineer. This position will involve overseeing all aspects of viaduct construction, ensuring compliance with relevant building regulations and standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing detailed schedules, checklists, and safety inspection processes to ensure the viaduct construction progresses safely and efficiently.Key Responsibilities

• Supervise work in accordance with the Building Control Act and LTA's requirements.
• Develop and manage detailed viaduct supervision schedules and comprehensive checklists for inspections and supervision by QP(S) and QSS teams.
• Create safety inspection schedules and checklists for viaduct construction activities.
• Oversee every stage of viaduct construction, conducting inspections to identify any signs of distress in the structure, ensuring safe and timely completion.
• Review and check construction drawings, shop drawings, method statements, and construction sequences for all temporary and permanent works involved in viaduct construction.
• Review engineering and temporary work designs related to viaduct construction and provide independent calculations for assessment.
• Assess all contingency measures, decision structures, and rectification proposals.
• Monitor and interpret the visual/physical condition of viaduct work, identifying potential risks and deviations from design intent and method statements.

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, recognized by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore.
• Proficient in Euro Codes, Singapore Standards, British Standards, and other relevant regulations.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in civil engineering projects.
• At least 5 years of experience in the design and supervision of viaduct works, with a preference for experience in precast segment construction.
• Based in Singapore (Ang Mo Kio/Singapore Seletar).
• Working hours: 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday, and 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM on Saturdays.
• Contract duration: 2 to 3 years (renewable).
