Overview

The Vice President (VP) will lead the development and commercialization of the company's next-generation AI product in Southeast Asia.

Reporting to the Executive Advisor, and working closely with Technology Office, the VP will own both

technology and business outcomes

, driving product strategy, architecture, go-to-market execution, and P&L performance.

This leadership role requires a balance of

strategic vision, commercial acumen, and technical literacy

, ensuring that the AI product is not only built well but delivers measurable financial impact and long-term scalability.

The VP will oversee the initial build-out team of up to 20 across engineering, data, and business functions within 18 months.

This position is ideal for a strategic, commercially minded leader with strong understanding of AI systems, product development, and financial discipline.

Note:

This role may be required to relocate within South East Asia.

Key Responsibilities

AI Product & Technology Leadership

Define and execute the AI product roadmap, ensuring technical scalability and commercial viability. Lead design, build, and deployment of AI and data-driven solutions across multiple cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Translate business objectives into practical, cost-efficient AI models, APIs, and data architectures. Implement governance and quality frameworks for AI ethics, cybersecurity, and compliance. Own and manage the full product lifecycle, ensuring alignment between business goals, customer needs, and technical execution.

Business & Commercial Ownership

Own the regional P&L including fiscal planning, budgeting, and ROI of product investments. Drive market analysis, customer acquisition, and go-to-market strategies. Develop monetization models that balance scalability with profitability. Identify partnership, alliance, and M&A opportunities that strengthen the AI product ecosystem. Report key performance indicators (growth, cost efficiency, customer impact) to the Chairman and Board Advisor.

Leadership & Operations

Build and lead high-performance teams across product, AI engineering, and business functions. Establish agile and cross-functional ways of working between technology and commercial units. Promote a culture of experimentation, transparency, and data-driven decision-making. Work with the Board Advisor to align on milestones, resource priorities, and external stakeholder engagement.

Technical & Leadership Requirements

15+ years of combined experience in technology, product, and business leadership roles. Proven ability to launch or scale AI-driven or data-intensive products with measurable ROI. Deep understanding of cloud platforms, data integration, and product architecture. Expertise in multi-cloud, data integration, and modern API-first architecture. Strong foundation in cybersecurity (ISO27001, NIST) and system scalability. Sound commercial judgment and familiarity with P&L management. Strong leadership presence and ability to influence board-level stakeholders. Experience in managing multidisciplinary teams across Asia is preferred.

Pay: $180,000.00 - $240,000.00 per year
