About the Department

Group Technology and Operations (GTO) provides software and system development, information technology support services and banking operations. We have centralized and standardized the technology components into Singapore, creating a global footprint which can be utilized for supporting our regional subsidiaries and the branches around the world. We operate and support 19 countries with this architecture to provide a secure and flexible banking infrastructure. Our Operations divisions provide transactional customer services for our businesses while also focusing on cost efficiency through process improvements, automation and straight through processing.

Job Responsibilities

You will be responsible for the end-to-end design and architecture in the data analytics domain. You will be expected to work in the Architecture Team for the data analytics domain. You will also be responsible for quality assurance of the team\'s delivery in conformance with the Bank-defined software delivery methodology and tools. You will partner with other technology functions to help deliver required technology solutions.

Key responsibilities include:
- Create solution architecture and reusable, extensible frameworks for data integration workloads, operationalization, big data stacks, MLOPS, decision systems
- Work with stakeholders to define capabilities and principles for an application
- Review and help streamline the design for big data applications and ensure that the right tools are used for the relevant use cases
- Engage user to achieve concurrence on technology provided solution. Conduct review of solution documents along with Functional Business Analyst and Business Unit for sign-off
- Create technical documents (functional/non-functional specification, design specification, training manual) for the solutions. Review interface design specifications created by development team
- Participate in selection of product/tools via RFP/POC.
- Provide inputs to help with the detailed estimation of projects and change requests
- Execute continuous service improvement and process improvement plans

Job Requirements

Team Architecture

- 10 years of experience with Expertise in building applications & frameworks using Scala, Java, Elastic, Kibana, Logstash, Hive, Sqoop, MongoDB, Oozie, Nifi, Shell, Control-M
- Experience in building frameworks related to data integration, reusable feature pipelines, resource optimization, access control setup, etc
- Experience in deploying stateless, stateful workloads on Openshift Kubernetes based platform, including usage of tools such as Helm, Kustomize, Cyberark Conjur
- Experience in deployment automation of container applications using Jenkins, Jfrog, Gradle, Bitbucket, Groovy and good knowledge of containerization, Kubernetes, Custom Resources, Docker, Taints & tolerances, Node affinity, configMaps, Helm, kustomize
- Experience in a Decision systems implementation (e.g. credit decision systems such as SAS, FICO, Experian or Marketing decisioning systems such as Adobe) for deploying decision models, ML models, etc for generation of behavioural score, collection strategy, limit management etc
- Experience in operationalizing machine learning models, including preparing pipelines, packaging, deployment using batch/API, implementation of model monitoring and feedback loops.
- Experience in implementing metadata management tools, data catalogs etc using Informatica, Collibra, Alation. Knowledge of Data Governance, Data Quality and Metadata Management tools such as Informatica Cloud Data Governance, Informatica IDQ, Collibra, Alation is a plus
- Experience in Data Protection and Access management by implementation of techniques such as encryption at rest, wire encryption, role based and fine grained access control, data masking, tokenisation, data obfuscation, etc

Technical Skillset

- Big Data Ecosystem preferably Cloudera (Spark, Presto, Hive, Hbase, Kafka, Impala, Apache Kudu, Ozone, Presto, Tez, Iceberg)
- Kubernetes, Openshift, Helm, Kustomize, Docker
- Machine Learning Platforms (IBM, H20, C3.Ai, CML, Dataiku)
- Informatica Cloud Data Governance, Informatica Data Quality
- Teradata Intelliflex, Vantage
- Decision Systems (SAS Viya)

And any 2 of the below technologies:

1. Cloudera Hadoop distribution - Hive, Impala, Spark, Kudu, Kafka, Flume
2. Openshift, Kubernetes
3. SAS Viya
4. CDSW/CML
5. IBM CP4D
6. Language - SQL, Java, Python, Scala
7. Automation / scripting - CtrlM, Shell Scripting, Groovy
