Job Description

We are partnering a leading financial institution and they are expanding their team with an Vice President for Database Administration.

Responsibilities

• Manage database environment including Oracle, SQL Server.
• Able to perform Start-of-Day checks on daily basis and fix the issues in accordance to SOPs
• Stakeholder liaison with IT PMs
• Elevate Database (security, reliability, availability, and scalability) and procedures
• Lead projects, root cause analysis of production-related database issues and troubleshooting

Requirements

• Bachelor\'s Degree or equivalent.
• At least 10\' years of experience of system/database development
• Handled 11.x/12.x/19.x Oracle versions and managed activities including DB Upgrades and Patching
• Experience in Oracle RAC, Data Guard, Oracle Restart on Windows, Oracle Enterprise Management and Service Now
• Experience in scripting, query tuning, optimization and solve complex problems
• Prior experience in a leadership position
• Extensive knowledge of creation of banking operation procedure and MongoDB will be an added advantage
