Your background

  • 5+ years' experience of performing Business Analysis, defining Technical Requirements and producing Functional Designs and Specifications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and proven capability of producing high quality, clear business friendly design specifications that can also be easily interpreted by technology peers.
  • Experience in all facets of the software development lifecycle and the end-to-end phases of the SDLC.
  • 2+ years' experience of working as part of an Agile/Scrum development team.
  • Understanding of complex database systems, ETL processes and the ability to interrogate data within databases - especially using large Oracle databases.
  • Strong Global Markets knowledge and experience of a wide range of financial products (especially Equity, Equity Derivatives and Fixed Income), the associated static/reference data and the typical trade lifecycle associated with each.
  • Experience of developing Test Cases, performing User Acceptance Testing/Quality Assurance and managing the various test cycles.
  • Experience of working in a Compliance Environment would be an advantage, particularly Trade Surveillances, and experience of products such as SMARTS (Nasdaq) and Actimize (Nice).

The Compliance Technology team is responsible for delivering solutions that satisfy the many requirements necessary to ensure compliance with these rules. We are a global team with team members based in America, Europe and Asia.

All of our projects and initiatives require a combination of innovative technology solutions and a close partnership with the Compliance teams to ensure a full understanding of their requirements.

A position now exists within the team for an experienced and highly motivated technical business analyst to work on key initiatives for our business partners in APAC. The systems involve monitoring our trading activity across all regions and asset classes and help ensure our full compliance with all applicable rules and regulations.

This challenging role will provide an excellent opportunity to undertake full life cycle tasks in a fast paced and evolving technology environment.

What you will do
  • Work closely with other Asia, EMEA and US based team members and business partners to design, enhance, test, support, maintain, and debug software solutions that support our users.
  • Work closely with key business stakeholders and management across all aspects of the development and support of the applications.
  • Provide feedback and guidance to project managers and other technology management on issues of critical importance to achieving business objectives.
