Job Overview: The Team lead manages the systems administration function and leads the organization\'s system projects and environments. He focuses on setting goals and priorities and on mentoring and coordination as well as providing technical leaderships. He plans and oversees systems upgrades and migrations and ensures systems are up-to-date with the latest patches and are coherent across the organization. He directs the development and maintenance of technical documentation. He possesses strong leadership and communication abilities, and is able to set realistic goals and implement appropriate plans to guide the team toward achieving those goals. He is able to address multi-faceted issues effectively and in collaborative manner including across departmentsThe selected candidate need to lead a team which supports below:

• Infrastructure platform (HW)
• Linux Platform (RedHat)
• Middleware Administration (Oracle, WebSphere, JBOSS, MQ)
• Database Admin (Oracle, DB2, Mysql)
• Opeartional tools (Monitoring, Job management, Splunk)

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide deep level support and act as the last level of technical escalation point for all production support activities within the Bank
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of best practices, standards, and knowledge base
• Provide operational excellence and skills on OS and system software to support various project phases (requirement gathering, design, procurement, implementation and hand-over to operations).
• Manage all technical activities and issue resolution of incidents and problems, where required
• Regularly review and fine tune the systems to ensure overall health and stability of the technical solutions within his/her scope
• Work with the Product Owners on the development of technology roadmaps and Application Teams on their adoption
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of best practices, standards, and knowledge base
• Review and implement programmes to drive the development of competency and skills of engineers
• Support audit and compliance activities
• Understanding of various development, testing and deployment tools -GIT/GITHUB, ANSIBLE,
• Troubleshoot and drive system recovery. Escalate problems with actual or potential major impact to problem management. Perform root cause analysis and ensure planned actions are carried out to prevent recurrence. Must be proactive and possess a sense of urgency during service recovery
• Review and approve change requests. Supervise execution for major change
• Overlook and Conduct performance analysis and tuning
• Automate system operation
• Track and drive patch management for all OS software. Track, plan and drive software upgrades to ensure continuous supportability.
• Establish adequate monitoring to ensure efficient and reliable service delivery
• Good knowledge on handling Middleware products (WAS/Weblogic/WMQ/IIB)
• Good Knowledge on DB2 and Oracle Databases.

Job Requirenment:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Infrastructure platform (HW), Linux Platform (RedHat), Middleware Administration (Oracle, WebSphere, JBOSS, MQ) and Database Admin (Oracle, DB2, Mysql)
• Degree in IT, Computer or Engineering
• Minimum 10 years experience in an enterprise level environment.
• Have experience handling a team both onsite and off-site.
• Strong Knowledge with experience in RedHat, middleware and DB products.
• Experience in HCI and VMware server provisioning and administration
• Any certification will be added benefit
• Creative and innovative thinking.
