Sales, Distribution and Business Development plays a vital role in understanding and meeting customer needs by offering the right solutions through the right channels to the right customer segments. The team is responsible for implementing distribution strategy, driving the delivery of market leading personal banking customer experiences and thereby maximising customer satisfaction.

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Vice President - International Business Development Manager.

Principal Responsibilities

• Managing the local Overseas India Business Development desk. Contributing to the expedited development of \xe2\x80\x9cjoined up\xe2\x80\x9d initiatives between India RBWM and the local market. Within the role you will also act as the in-market SME for all relevant x-border local matters such as Cross Border manual, product offering in etc. You will develop strong, effective and successful collaborations with \xe2\x80\x98leads of\xe2\x80\x99 colleagues within the local and INM business to represent an aligned approach to help grow this customer base
• The jobholder will oversee relevant activities such as implementation of key business initiatives and data analytics to make proposal and recommendations to enhance the value proposition and service model to deliver the business objective
• The jobholder will be working closely with Group International & Cross Border community including the 6 priority markets (China, Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, UK and US) in delivering the global international strategy for local market, including international education and wealth solutions. The job holder shall ensure that the activities performed are within the regulatory boundaries (INM and local market), group cross border framework and does not engage in customer acquisition via direct customer interaction

Requirements

• University graduate or equivalent
• Excellent track record of delivering business targets, meeting customer needs and improving customer satisfaction
• Previous Business Development experience
• Strategic and analytical thinking, excellent communication, problem solving, interpersonal and presentation skills. In particular ability to process data and execute strategy
• Able to work independently with limited supervision and guidance.
• Strong understanding of financial markets, global economics and financial services
• Good understanding of credit, risk and cross boarder compliance policy and procedures
• Strong knowledge and understanding of the Overseas India proposition
• Good knowledge of the international account opening and referral process
• Embraces diversity, and is able to work with a group of people with diverse backgrounds
